Need Advice on which "GREEN" city to purchase residential/commerical property in....

I am currently looking to purchase a residential or commercial investment property and would like consider buying in an area that has future plans for "green" tech jobs/industry.
Does anyone have any insight they can share with me?

San Diego is upcoming. LA is not bad either.
Do you see a co-relation between green tech and real estate investments to a major degree?
