Clean Green Guy was born out of the need to take a proactive step to build the green economy by helping with the creation of innovative and new businesses. This meant helping entrepreneurs succeed with bringing their ideas to the market and commercialization of green technologies to drive innovation and creation of green jobs.
Entrepreneurs are the key to business creation. In order to go from Idea-2-Implementation, Entrepreneurs need access to Funding sources and good people around them in the form of Service Providers such as attorneys, CPAs and business consultants to provide and maintain the momentum and integrity of the business.
Green businesses are a tricky proposition. Even though the fundamentals of establishing and operating the business remain the same, its success is still untested territory. The supply demand curves meet much higher than that of a conventional business and are fixed to set up businesses such as those in CleanTech are quite high. The returns on an investment into green businesses are still unpredictable, making investors sometime think if they are investing for a profit or just because it is the right thing to do. Government agencies are still trying to ensure that the right amount of incentives are provided to give boost to new green businesses and technologies thus leading to job creation. The community knows that it is the right thing to do to go green but the solar panel they want to put on their roof is still not within their budget.

If there was a way we could present meet more qualified funding sources in order to increase our chances of raising capital - be it Angel or VC funding or even any kind of alternate financing for our purchase orders. And if we could get to meet and select from a great number of service providers for my accounting, business, banking and legal needs.
The Clean Green Guy website was designed to make the Entrepreneur's life easier. And to bring him/her closer to Investors, Financiers and Service providers. We believe that this will help the Entrepreneur spend more time in building his green business rather than spending a large amount of time in trying to build the contacts to reach out to these groups of folks who he/she needs. Building a green business is complicated as such. We are here to make things simpler. The Clean Green Guy is like a party host inviting you to join the online platform and meet others.
